What is the EDI 943?
The EDI 943 alerts a warehouse to an inbound shipment before it arrives: the SKUs and quantities, the PO or transfer reference, the carrier, and the expected arrival. It lets the receiving team plan labor and dock time, and it gives the warehouse an expected quantity to receive against. The warehouse confirms what arrived with a 944.
