What is the EDI 944?
The EDI 944 reports what a warehouse received against an inbound shipment: quantities by SKU, overages, shortages, and damage. It is the receiving record that makes inventory available to sell, and the comparison of the 944 against the 943 or the supplier’s ASN is where inbound discrepancies are found and claimed.
