Distributor
A partner that buys inventory to resell it onward to retailers.
Also known as: broker, distribution partner
What is Distributor?
A distributor is a wholesale partner that purchases a brand’s inventory, takes ownership, and resells it onward to retailers or smaller accounts, often providing logistics, credit, and market access a brand can’t reach alone. A broker, by contrast, facilitates sales for a commission without taking ownership. Both extend reach but add a layer between the brand and the shelf, which can obscure sell-through and margin.
How Endless handles it
Endless consolidates orders and sell-through across distributors and brokers, so a brand keeps visibility into where product actually moves — not just where it was shipped.
