Full Truckload (FTL)
A trailer dedicated to one shipper’s freight, moving directly from pickup to delivery.
Also known as: FTL, full truckload, full-truckload
What is Full Truckload (FTL)?
Full truckload (FTL or TL) is a freight service in which one shipper pays for the whole trailer, which moves directly from pickup to delivery without stopping at carrier terminals. A standard 53-foot dry van holds about 26 standard pallets on the floor and roughly 42,000 to 45,000 pounds of cargo. Truckload is priced by lane and market rate, with fuel and accessorials on top, and it is the default for large retail replenishment orders.
How Endless handles it
