Order-to-Cash (O2C)
The full cycle from receiving an order to collecting payment for it.
Also known as: O2C, OTC
What is Order-to-Cash (O2C)?
Order-to-cash (O2C) is the end-to-end business cycle that runs from receiving a customer order through fulfillment, invoicing, and finally collecting payment. In wholesale it spans the full EDI chain — 850 to 856 to 810 to 820 — and every gap or error in that chain slows or reduces cash. Compressing and de-risking O2C is one of the most direct levers on working capital.
How Endless handles it
Endless runs the whole order-to-cash cycle on one platform, so an order, its shipment, its invoice, and its payment reconciliation all reference the same record instead of four disconnected systems.
