Dispute win rate (by count)

70.00%

of resolved disputes won

Worked example

Win 182 of 260 resolved disputes and you post 70.00%. That reads well until you check the dollar-weighted version — winning small cases while losing large ones produces exactly this number with no money behind it.

When you reach for this

Measures how good your evidence is. A low count-based win rate usually points at missing proof of delivery or ASN records rather than at unreasonable retailers.

How to read the number

Always pair this with the dollar-weighted version. Winning most of your small cases while losing the large ones produces a flattering count rate and no financial improvement.

Questions operators ask about this metric

Should open disputes sit in the denominator?

No. Only resolved cases belong here, or an aging queue will quietly deflate the rate. Track open volume and open age as separate figures.

Why does the count-based rate flatter most teams?

Because queues get worked in arrival order, and small routine claims are both more numerous and easier to win. The rate rewards volume rather than value.

What does a low count-based rate point at?

Evidence, not unreasonable retailers. Missing proof of delivery, missing ASN records, and missing signed bills of lading account for most losses that were winnable.

Do partial recoveries count as wins?

Pick a rule and hold to it. Counting a partial as a win inflates the rate, which is one more argument for leading with the dollar-weighted version instead.

Stop calculating this by hand

Every number on this page comes out of data you already have — orders, shipments, inventory, deductions. Endless keeps those in one source of truth instead of four exports, so the metric updates on its own and agents watch it for you.
