Notifications: Only From The Company You’re In

If you belonged to more than one company, an event in one could refresh the bell and inbox while you were working in another — the live signal was keyed to you rather than to the company, and the inbox and unread badge returned notifications across every company you belonged to. Live updates, the inbox list, and the unread badge now only reflect the company you are currently viewing, and switching company refreshes on its own.

Notifications from before this change carry the company they belong to, filled in by a one-time pass. Anything old enough to have no recoverable company stays uncategorized and is not shown against a wrong one.
