What is the EDI 310?
The EDI 310 combines the ocean bill of lading data with the charges for the move: ocean freight, surcharges, and origin and destination fees. It is the ocean counterpart of the motor carrier 210, and freight audit uses it the same way, checking each charge against the contracted rate and the booking.
