Order Fulfillment
The end-to-end process of getting an order from placement to the customer’s hands.
Also known as: fulfillment, pick and pack
What is Order Fulfillment?
Order fulfillment is the complete process of receiving an order and getting it to the customer — allocating inventory, picking, packing, labeling, shipping, and confirming delivery. In a multichannel brand, the same fulfillment engine has to satisfy a DTC parcel, a wholesale pallet, and a marketplace order, each with different rules. Fulfillment quality is where operational promises made at checkout are either kept or broken.
How Endless handles it
Endless routes every order — DTC, wholesale, or marketplace — through one fulfillment model across any warehouse or 3PL, so channel doesn’t dictate a separate process.
